Join us for Casual Commander: Pack Tactics! This event is all about playing Commander and having fun. There are no points for winning games and no prizing for winning games. Never fear, you still have your chance to win packs!
The event is played in 3 sixty minute rounds in which we switch up the pod pairings every rounds. This gives you the chance to play with different folks each game!
Entry is $10 and nets you a pack!
Rounds are as follows:
Round 1: Raffle Round
- We will raffle off packs every 20 minutes!
Round 2: Trivia Round
- We will ask MTG trivia questions every 20 minutes! The first player to raise their hand and accurately answer the trivia question gets a pack!
Round 3: Voting Round
- We will ask different types of player qualities every 20 minutes for you to vote on. The player who receives the most votes for each category gets a pack! This can vary from best sportsperson to most synergistic deck and many other qualities!
At the end of each round, we will randomly pair you into a new pod and you'll play with them next. Again, there's no points for losing or winning, it's all about just playing the game with different folks! If you absolutely need a win called for a match should it not end before the time runs out on the round, you're welcome to call a judge over and we can make a determination for you.
This is a casual event aimed at highlighting the social aspect of the Commander format! We hope to see you guys here with us!
