Everyone is invited to the ICT Farms' Casting Party at the future home of the OneRise Health Campus!
We have cleared and mowed area to park right off of MacArthur (Southside of field) with overflow across the street at a new industrial building (southside of the road).
This year, we are utilizing our own special version of an North and South American Indigenous method of planting, know as MILPA. This includes utilizing dozens of seed varieties all at once to bring a large diversity of life into the soil, making it ideal for future produce plantings!
Additionally, this site will feature additional flowers to help bring additional beauty and pollinators into the area.
With roughly 14 acres to seed (space is roughly 28 Acres), we need as much of the publics help as possible. So bring your family, walk the field and throw seeds of all kinds all over and watch this summer as flowers and vegetables pop up all over!
In the future, we will have special events to harvest, explore the farm, and eat.
So join us as we kick off an amazing new project for the south side of Wichita!
