CASTING A-Z WORKSHOP with Director/Actor Evelyn O. Vaccaro (TIHFF 2023)

This free 3 hour casting workshop will begin with a discussion on the process of casting talent for productions, followed by a step by step breakdown on what happens at auditions from the moment you enter the office, are invited into the audition room, the best way to exit and how to follow up.

Evelyn will discuss character breakdown, wardrobe and make-up, the‘tell me about yourself audition’, headshots, resumes with examples and much more. She will then have you audition on camera. As a bonus, Evelyn will be brining in Casting Director, Jenny Pinder who casts talent for major productions in The Bahamas.

About Evelyn O. Vaccaro: Evelyn is known for her on Black Panther 2Wakanda Forever, John Wick 3 (2019), Gotham (2018), Luke Cage(2017). She is a native to New York and has studied in New York, Miamiand London with top industry coaches in both acting and stunts for filmand television, dance and on camera hosting. As an actor/stuntperformer, Evelyn's hard work and dedication to her craft have earnedher numerous roles in national commercials, films and major networktelevision shows. She is very knowledgable on the audition/castingprocess and happy to share her years of knowledge with theattendees.

About Jenny Pinder: Jenny is a seasoned veteran in sales, marketing,public relations, media placement and non-traditional marketing. Shehas a broad knowledge of the Islands of the Bahamas. Having worked as aprofessional model for many years, Jenny Pinder understands theaudition process and the qualities Casting Directors look for in talent.Jenny has casted talent for many projects in the past and continues tobe called on to help cast talent for major productions in the Bahamas.
