Cassie was diagnosed with Lemierre Syndrome, a rare and life-threatening illness that led to a large blood clot in her neck/brain. What began as a routine illness quickly turned into a medical emergency, resulting in hospitalization, countless tests, and a long road to recovery.
While we are incredibly thankful that Cassie is home, her journey is far from over. She continues to receive ongoing medical care, follow-up appointments, and treatment as she heals.
