Casey's Craft Club: Decoupage Candle Holder
About this Event
Casey's Craft Club is celebrating the fall season with an evening of festive crafting. We will be decorating glass tealight candle holders while watching a seasonal movie—movie to be determined but think Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus, Coraline. We will decorate the holders with a technique called decoupage in which you glue paper and other decorative elements to the glass using mod podge. All materials will be provided including the container (all sourced secondhand), decorations and 2 tealight candles for you to take home with you. A selection of tissue paper and organic elements (flowers and leaves) will be provided so you can create your own unique design. Feel free to bring any additional materials that you want to use as decoration. No experience needed and plenty of inspiration will be provided.
You are welcome to bring drinks and food to enjoy at the event! For this special fall celebration, I will have a selection of hot teas and cider to sip on.
Casey’s Craft Club is a welcoming space to get crafty, meet friends & build community. This is a safe, stress free environment to try out new projects & materials and build a community of creative people.
