I invite you to join me travel back in time by working with tools that haven’t changed its design for hundreds, no even for thousands of years.
You will explore yourself and observe your emotions while working with wood by using a piece of metal that won’t hesitate to cut you if not treated with respect.
Sometimes with force & sometimes like a surgeon, you will sculpt your imagination into the warm natural material, which also has its own mind.
A dance between your imagination of what you want to create and what the piece of wood wants to become.
You get the chance to reactivate your hand to eye coordination, which in our daily lives isn’t actively in use anymore.
While doing that you will obtain awareness about, your strengths, your hidden abilities & your fears.
You can put your Phone in the dedicated NoPhones box so you will be able to get into a meditative state without any distractions.
It’s only you, the Axe & Knife, the Wood and the decelerating process of creation.
This workshop is not only about the object you are going to carve,
It’s about you!
You are going to carve yourself.
With patience and elegance I will guide you to sharpen your mind.
I am looking forward for you to join my class with no electric tools & no phones,
Just deceleration.

The Workshop is on donation base. Some costs need be covered so please keep that in mind.
Other then that you can pay what you can and what you think the experience was worth it to you.

This will assure that everyone has access to this type of education.
Inspired by the “Caffè Sospeso” the pending coffee, those that are able to pay more, give the opportunity to those that have less.
All the extra money will be invested in future Workshops (if interested read at the bottom)

PS: For the lunch break we will order food, which everyone pays for themselves. Or you can bring food that can be heated and/or prepared in the kitchen.

Future Workshops will include
Advanced Carving Class:
* carving with a hook knife or gouge - used to hollow the mouth part of the spoon
* carving with draw knifes on a spoon mule or carving bench
* sharpening tools like knifes, axes etc.
The advanced classes will be 2-3 day workshops with camping, carving & fireplace stories

Te invit să vii impreună cu mine într-o călătorie în timp, unde vei putea lucra cu unelte al căror design a rămas neschimbat de sute, poate chiar mii de ani.
Te vei explora pe sine, îți vei putea observa emoțiile, în timp ce lucrezi cu lemnul, folosind o bucată de metal, care nu va întărzia să te rănească, dacă nu o tratezi cu respect.
Câteodată cu putere, altă dată cu precizia unui chirurg , îți vei sculpta imaginația în materialul natural cald, care are și el propria sa minte.
Un dans între imaginația ta despre ceea ce vrei să creezi și ceea ce însăși bucata de lemn dorește să devină.
Vei avea șansa de a-ți reactiva coordonarea mână-ochi, care în viața de zi cu zi nu mai este folosită în mod activ.
În timp ce faci asta, vei obține conștientizarea punctelor tale forte, a abilităților tale ascunse, precum și a temerilor tale.
Îți poți pune telefonul în cutia NoPhones dedicată, astfel încât, făra a fi distras, să poți intra într-o stare de meditație.
Ești doar tu, toporul și cuțitul, lemnul și procesul încetinit al creației.
În acest atelier nu este vorba doar despre obiectul pe care urmează să-l sculptezi, este vorba despre tine!
Tu o să fii cel pe care îl prelucrezi.
Cu răbdare și eleganță te voi ghida asfel încât să-ți poți ascuți capacitatea de percepție a simțurilor.
Mă bucur să îți pot înlesni participarea la un curs fară mașini electrice și fără telefoane.
