Philadelphia-based Rennie Harris Puremovement Street Dance Theatre is one of the nation’ s leading hip-hop and street dance companies, celebrating the history, artistry, and impact of hip hop through performance and education. Nuttin’ But A Word is a high-energy celebration of street dance styles, featuring locking, house, hip hop, and breaking (B-boying). Through athletic movement, creativity, and self-expression, the dancers showcase the individuality and innovation at the heart of hip hop culture—and the power of dance to tell stories, build community, and inspire. Best for grades 5-12.
