For hundreds of years across the African continent, people have gathered to share stories that preserve and celebrate their beliefs, mythology, cultural identity, history, and community values. Master Storyteller Charlotte Blake Alston brings this rich tradition to life through captivating traditional and contemporary stories from African and African American oral and cultural traditions. Through expressive storytelling, music, and audience engagement, Charlotte invites audiences to experience the rhythm, humor, wisdom, and enduring power of stories passed from one generation to the next.
