About this Event
We are pleased to host the Carver Alumni Reunion Gala to honor the students who attended Carver High from 1926 -1954. Many of these living legacies still reside in Arizona. Others will join us from across the U.S. either in person or virtually. Since the last graduating class was 1954, graduates are now over 80 years of age. We will enjoy a video tribute and hear from local leaders and supporters of Carver. Cocktail attire. Please register early. Seating is limited.
Entertainment
The event will include dinner and feature live music with Emmy Award winning trumpeter Jesse McGuire. McGuire has performed for three U.S. presidents. Guests may tour the new Phoenix Monarchs exhibit featuring the histories and memorabilia of Carver graduates, teachers and administrators. Guests may also view the famous statues, by the legendary Sculptor John H. Waddell, of the four black girls killed in the church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963.
