Come learn how to carve a detailed wooden prop sword! Learn the basics of how to use two of the most popular tools in the woodshop, band saw and belt sander, to create a wooden sword just like your favorite weapon from pop culture or one of your own design.You'll work in the woodshop over two sessions making a prop weapon perfect for putting on display or a prop for cosplay. Session one you'll design and begin to shape your sword. Session two will be focused on completing the design details on your sword. At the end of this class, you'll leave with your handmade prop sword and some basics woodworking knowledge!
Session 1: December 6, 6-8 PM
Session 2: December 7, 10 AM-1 PM
