About this Event
Join us for a special Black Women’s History program at the Museum of African American History featuring historical readings, music, a panel of past and present leaders, archival displays, and community fellowship.
This program highlights the enduring legacy and leadership of Black women through the work and history of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and Greater Boston Section (GBS). Guests will experience a thoughtfully curated program that includes historical readings, music presentations, a panel discussion featuring past and present presidents, and a continuous slideshow showcasing archival photos and artifacts from throughout the years.
The event will also feature a display of GBSNCNW artifacts, offering attendees a chance to connect with the organization’s rich history and impact. Light refreshments will be served, and a GBS information table will be available for those interested in learning more.
