Carrot Jazz Club welcomes Morgan Hanna on February 9th! Originally from The Bahamas, Morgan Hanna is a musician based in Edmonton. Beginning on piano at a young age, she also studied the drums, saxophone and voice before landing on guitar. Currently in her fourth year of MacEwan University’s Bachelor of Music in Performance, she has fine tuned her skills by studying with phenomenal guitarists such as Jamie Philp, Mo Lefever and Jim Head. Morgan has played at various Edmonton venues, including the Yardbird Suite, and has played at The Citadel Theatre in 9 to 5:The Musical as well as the world premiere of Almost A Full Moon.
Bring your instruments for a jam session at the end. This is a licensed event for members only; complimentary membership will be offered. $5 cover at the door.
