Carroll Hall Open Garden
About this Event
Every Wednesday, Carroll Hall opens its doors so our neighbors and community can step into something rare: A quiet, unexpected garden hidden behind a brick wall in East Williamsburg.
Come to sit, wander, breathe, read, or simply be. Whether you are seeking solitude, a gentle conversation, or a moment to connect with nature, Open Garden is yours for two hours at no cost.
Free and open to all. Registration is required, as space is limited.
A few things to keep in mind
This is a shared space, and a living one. To help it stay beautiful for everyone:
- Stay on the paths — please don't walk across plant beds, disturb the soil, or remove any leaves or plants.
- Leave pets at home — our garden wildlife thanks you. Guide animals are always welcome; please clean up after them.
- Keep it quiet — hushed voices and headphones for music, please.
- No tagging — express your creativity in other ways.
- Dispose of drinks and waste in the receptacles provided; please don't pour anything into the beds or fountain.
- Keep your belongings close — Carroll Hall isn't responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Children are warmly welcomed — please keep them accompanied and help them follow the garden's guidelines.
If you'd like to book Carroll Hall for a private event or photo shoot, we'd love to hear from you. Please email us at [email protected].
