Known for her warm stage presence, honest storytelling, and gentle sense of humour, Carrie invites listeners into a reflective and deeply human musical experience.
The evening will begin with a set from special guests Moonlight Magpies. Their clever songwriting, beautiful harmonies, and delightful stage presence make them a perfect start to a summer night of music.

CARRIE DAY:
Carrie Day is an Edmonton–based folk/roots singer-songwriter and musician. Known for her breathy vocals, poetic lyrics, and expressive arrangements, her work channels raw emotion straight to the listener’s heart. Her songs are rooted in a deep calling to create beauty and make sense of the world, inviting listeners to reflect on life and what it means to be human.
BEN SURES:
Ben Sures is a guitar player who tells great stories in song. A natural performer with an instinct for humour and storytelling. Ben Sures writes songs about everything from imaginary rayguns to sandwiches prepared for him by his father when he was a child visiting on weekends. Sures is immersed in the history of roots music, the old traditions informing this contemporary songwriter’s music. His most recent album ‘The Story That Lived Here’ was number one for consecutive weeks on the CKUA radio chart and was in the top ten of the national college charts in Canada.
DAN CHURCHILL:
Dan Churchill is a bassist and educator known for his strong sense of groove and versatility across genres. He’s a core member of groups like King Muskafa, Funk the Matriarchy, The Canadian Ska Orchestra, and Cristian De La Luna’s band, bringing energy and cohesion to every set.

Hatched at the NCF Family Music Camp, by way of Edmonton Alberta, Reuben Anderson and Jenni-Mai Smalley play heartfelt, genre bending, songs with fun arrangements.Campfire jams with a restless streak. Embracing their bird brains, they bring mischief, colour and shape to their music that will leave you hungry for worms, I mean, MORE! Hungry for more!
