𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Sissy Spacek plays Carrie, a ridiculed high school outcast who develops telekinetic powers. Sheltered by her domineering mother and constantly humiliated by her classmates, Carrie lets out her fury after the high school 'in crowd' torments her with a sick joke at the senior prom. Based on the novel by Stephen King, this film is directed to perfection by Brian De Palma and boasts one of the most memorable scenes in horror film history.
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿: Dr. Tobia currently serves as the Campus Chair of Psychiatry at the Rutgers School of Medicine and is the Service Chief of Psychiatry at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.He is an active contributor to the medical literature with publications, reviews, and abstracts. Dr. Tobia’s educational interests include the merging of popular culture and the field of psychiatry. His various innovative teaching approaches include eight that are registered in the Office of Research Commercialization at Rutgers University.
