Carriage Rides for a Cause

The Traders Point Caring Carriage, Robert Goodman Jewelers, and the Zionsville Post have announced a collaborative fundraising event on Saturday, June 27, to raise awareness and funds for the Library. The effort comes in response to Indiana’s Senate Enrolled Act 1 (SEA1), a new law overhauling property and local income tax systems that officials say will put libraries across the state in financial jeopardy.
The June 27 event will feature carriage rides from 1 to 4 PM, with check-in at the HMMPL parking lot off 5th Street in Zionsville. The scenic route will depart from the Library and follow a portion of the Century Homes Tour through the heart of the Village, highlighting the community’s historic architecture.
Rides take approximately 15 minutes, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will also be a Hobby Horse Obstacle Course and MakerStudio activities.
