The Little Village Rotary Club presents Carrera por la Paz, or Race for Peace, is a 5K run/walk event. The objective is to promote peace and anti-violence by supporting youth programs in Chicago’s Little Village and surrounding communities.This event will have competitive & non-competitive 5K races.
8:30am (competitive wave)
9:00am (non-competitive wave)
• The race will be chip-timed on a certified 5K course (IL21011NM).
• Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three runners in both men and women categories.
• Award medals will be given to the top runners in various age brackets.
• All runners will receive a finisher medal and Race Day Event T-Shirt.
