The Carrboro Farmers’ Market presents its 17th annual Kids Seedling Day on Saturday, April 20th. At this event, kids can begin their gardening journey with a tomato seedling of their choice from diverse heirloom varieties donated by Market farmers, complete with potting soil and growing tips provided by event sponsor Fifth Season Gardening Company. This event celebrates Earth Day and National Poetry Month and features a collective poetry-writing activity for kids of all ages with Carrboro’s Poet Laureate, a raffle by Fifth Season Gardening Company, live music, and more.This event is also supported by CFM Big Beef Sponsor Laser Image Printing & Marketing.
Plan ahead for parking– A map with free public parking in downtown Carrboro is available on the Town of Carrboro website. The CFM also has ample bicycle parking stations, and is convenient to the CW, J, and F bus routes, all free through Chapel Hill Transit.
