Carpe Noctem Vampire Ball

Once again the anual Carpe Noctem Vampire Ball calls upon all Creatures of the Night to celebrate as the seasons turn and the veil between the living and the dead begins to thin.

This year we are inviting you to the wild, primal and mysterious depths of the Crimson Forest. Here is where the folklore of the Vampire is whispered in the trees and the moon reflects your true desires.
On the night you will be welcomed with a signature 'Bloodbath' cocktail as you enter into the dark forest of vampiric delights. The evening will be filled with spectacles of dark burlesque, music, drag, and bellydance by some of Melbourne's leading performers, as well as the hypnotic beats and revelry-inducing tunes from our incredible DJs.
This is an inclusive event that is created to celebrate the vast diversity of our Goth, Alternative, Queer, and Vampyre communities.

When & where: Friday 11th April @ The Hall - Brunswick, Naarm (Melbourne)

Doors: 7:30pm sharp! Don’t be late as you don’t want to miss a moment of the night!

Dress: Draw upon your wildest Vampire/Gothic attire to become one with the night. Whether you're a folkoric vampire, dark ages warrior, succubus of the forest, a beast of the dark realms, a queen of shadows, or a woodland vampire. Let your creative expression be celebrated in all its immortal glory and be in the running to win some incredible prizes from our sponsors.

Venue: The Hall Brunswick is a 100 year old building of epic proportions, with vine-covered ceilings, hidden drinking alleyway, and a long marbled green bar. Aside from its main hall it offers small break out areas and a partially covered outdoor space.

Food & Drink: Throughout the evening there will be a selection of light canapés and a small grazing table for refreshments. Vegan, vegetarian & gluten-free options will be available. There is also a full service cash bar. No outside food or drink is allowed in the venue.

NOTE: This is not a dinner service event.

Microbats of Melbourne - a microbat specialised rescue and rehabilitation service. Bats play a crucial role in our ecosystem, yet they face significant challenges due to stigma, misinformation, and human interference. Like many wildlife rescue organizations, Microbats of Melbourne is entirely staffed by volunteers and depends on government and community support to help bats throughout Melbourne and its surrounding areas.
