Disney Parks officially announced the ride will close on July 6, 2026, for a massive timeline modernization. When it reopens in 2027, the family will journey through the 1960s, 1980s, Y2K, and a deep-space future!
While we'll miss the classic turn-of-the-century scenes, seeing a Walt Disney animatronic introduce his favorite attraction is going to be incredibly special.
