COVID REFUND POLICY

Covid-19: We will offer full refunds to all car registrants, ticket buyers and stallholders should the 2022 Caroline Bay Rock and Hop be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. Our intention is to give as much notice as possible about this. It is also our intention to either hold the whole event, or not hold it at all.

The Caroline Bay Rock and Hop is a four-day festival of nostalgia with a ‘50s,’60s theme, featuring over 1000 cars, caravans and motorbikes from all era's. Keep an eye out as these cars come from all over NZ and many you have not seen before.

We start the long weekend on the Thursday with a chance to cruise around Levels raceway with your friends. (you must purchase separate tickets to take part in this).There is a link on our website for these tickets.

Friday we have two suggested cruises for you with the first being to Geraldine, this one leaves Caroline Bay at 11am. Cruise to Geraldine and enjoy the atmosphere that this gorgeous small town has on offer.

The Main Street Cruise starts at 5.30pm which takes the vehicles past 1000's of spectators through the main streets of Timaru and Pleasant Point finishing with a street party in Temuka. After the cruise those who wish to party can then join us back at Caroline Bay in the hall for our Pistons and Petticoats Rock and Roll Party. We have NZ's premiere Rock and Roll entertainer Che Orton with the band Four on the Floor. This is a night to remember.

The Saturday is the big Gala Show and Shine Day where all the vehicles are parked up for display and judging on the spectacular Caroline Bay. We have music from The Groove and the Drama Queens, a best dressed competition, 100’s of stalls, plenty of dancers, a fashion parade, lots of competitions and so much more it will be hard to know where to look. We finish the day off with the prize giving winners parade and then the draw for our lucky ticket winners, with the main prize being $10,000 cash. Yes, we’re giving away $10,000. It’s a live draw up on the stage, and while you don’t have to be there to win it would be great to see you all there.

Saturday night we have another night of party fun at the Rock Your Socks Off Party with band Shalow entertaining in the Caroline Bay Hall . With the sprung floor the hall will really be be rocking.

Everyone can meet up again down at the Bay Hall on Sunday morning for Breakfast before heading off at 10.30 on the final cruise which this year is going to the victorian precinct in Oamaru. For those who wish to tour Riverstone Castle, we have a limited number of tickets available for tours .
