Update: June 13- Due to terrible weather forecast for the weekend and divisions not filling up, we will be cancelling this weekend and looking at dates for the fall to do this again with even more notice! Likely the weekend after GVegas in November! Stay tuned!
What’s up Carolinas!! After so much fun last August at our inaugural Carolina Craze, we decided to do a mid summer Father’s Day weekend event both in greater Charlotte back to back days, so we introduce to you, Carolina Crush! This June we’ll be at one awesome location, Dorton Park in Concord (NC).
Our dates will be Saturday June 14 and Sunday June 15. Conveniently, we are right between the dates of VolleyBums (June 21-22) and Chaos (Charlotte: June 7-8, Raleigh: June 21-22), so we hope you will make plans to join us!
Saturday, June 14, will be Men’s & Women’s Grass Triples in OPEN, AA, A, and BB/B divisions.
Sunday, June 15 will be Reverse Coed Grass Doubles in OPEN, AA, A and BB divisions. We also will have 18U, 16U and 14U juniors divisions for girls triples in addition to Coed quads in B division (2F/2M).
As we are an AVP affiliated organization, please make sure you have a current AVP Silver level membership or higher, as you’ll need one to play and sign up!
Ground rules- 1) pick up after yourselves! You are adults, act like it! We will have extra garbage bags at tourney tent for you to grab but please pick up your trash and use recycle/trash bins provided by the park.
2) No alcohol allowed on Saturday, or Sunday, as this is a public city park property. If you openly drink alcohol, you may be asked to place remainder in your vehicle or to leave.
3) Don’t be a dick. Simple enough.
4) Playing rules- we follow standard AVP grass outdoor rules.
5) Don’t sandbag!! Number most abused tournament rule. Please don’t force us to kick you out of playoffs or change your division. But we will if needed to keep integrity of event.

Ohhhh snap, also, don’t forget to save the date early for our 2nd Annual CAROLINA CRAZE, at a new location this year, but still second weekend in August! It will be August 9-10, 2025 in Greensboro!
Saturday will be Men’s & Women’s Triples and Sunday will be RevCo Doubles & RevCo Quads and Juniors Doubles!
Just so there’s no confusion- we are in no way affiliated with Southern Legacy VB, VolleyBums or Chaos volleyball, just were pointing out schedules that are published.
There is a Southern Legacy & VBums Juniors event happening same day at nearby location that is unaffiliated with our event as we agreed not to host juniors on same day. If you are a juniors player, why not sign up for theirs on Saturday and ours on Sunday!
