Carolina Country Music Awards Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary at the New Greg Rowles Legacy TheatreNorth Myrtle Beach, SC – The Carolina Country Music Association is thrilled to announce that the 10th Annual Carolina Country Music Awards (CCMAs) will take place on January 18, 2025, at the newly inaugurated Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre in North Myrtle Beach. This milestone event, which continues to support and showcase the best singer/songwriters in the Carolinas, will be hosted again this year by Frank Johnson, Chief Meteorologist of WBTW Channel 13, and Sweet Tea, air personality on the Carolina Country Radio Network (93.9 WMIR in Myrtle Beach, 100.1 WFAY in Fayetteville, and 106.3 WYAY in Wilmington). Bill Bowman, Publisher of Up and Coming Weekly of Fayetteville returns as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.
This year’s celebration is particularly significant as the show is moving to a brand-new venue, the Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre. This state-of-the-art facility is named after Greg Rowles, a 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the Carolina Country Music Association, and honors Greg’s impactful contributions to country music. The awards ceremony promises an exciting lineup of performances and a chance to honor the outstanding achievements of country artists from the Carolinas.
The show will award 12 winners in the following categories:
• Male Artist of the Year
• Female Artist of the Year
• Vocal Group of the Year
• Duo of the Year
• Country Single of the Year
• Country Music Video of the Year
• Christian Country Single of the Year
• Songwriter of the Year
• Country Tour of the Year
• Michael Comer Emerging New Artist
• Damien Horne Humanitarian Award
• Entertainer of the Year
The CCMA is also proud to recognize our past Hall of Fame and Gold Medal Winners, including Damien Horne, Zack Turner, John Berry, Greg Rowles, Andy McKinny, Mark Herndon, and Jason Michael Carroll. Their legacies continue to inspire new generations of artists within the country music community.
