Welcome to The Bootleggers’ Ball—a speakeasy-style night of dark glamour, forbidden indulgence, and unapologetic self-expression.

This is where the speakeasy meets couture—where lace and leather dance with silk and smoke, and every identity is welcome, so long as it’s owned. Dress in your power: pinstripes and pearls, gowns and gloves, corsets, collars, or whatever contraband confidence looks like on you.

Throughout the night, live performers and specialty acts take the stage while our vetted House Tops offer guided bottoming experiences on select equipment—short, safe, and always consensual. No deep headspace. No aftercare provided. Just a taste of sensation and surrender, offered with intention.

The Bootleggers’ Ball isn’t about pretending. It’s about permission.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Stage Acts: Burlesque, rope, and live sensation artistry throughout the night.

Performers: Carolina Confidential performers delivering acts and specialty moments all night.

Featuring Scotty Maximum and Anal Aly—highly sought-after rope artists showcasing signature shibari suspension on the rig throughout the night.

Bottoming Stations: Short, guided experiences on the cross or bench with vetted House Tops (no deep headspace; no aftercare provided).

Atmosphere: Prohibition jazz remixed with modern dark beats; smoke, mirrors, whispers, and glam with teeth.

Vendors: Select vendors on site offering lifestyle gear and equipment (details coming).

Photo Corner: CC backdrop photo spot located just outside the ballroom (the only approved area for photos).

SAFETY, CONSENT, & STRUCTURE
Carolina Confidential is consent-forward and professionally managed.
On site all night: Dungeon Monitors, vetted House Tops (including rope specialists), professional security, and safety oversight.
Consent isn’t optional—it’s required. Respect boundaries, pronouns, and privacy. Violation of consent or conduct standards = immediate removal and may result in a ban from future events.

THE AFTER PARTY — THE UNDERGROUND
When the Ball ends, the night descends. From 12:30 AM – 2:00 AM, a select few are invited into The Underground—a private continuation where the lights go lower and the energy gets heavier. This is where the night gets teeth.
• The Underground Access — $25 (Limited to 100 tickets; available only to Bootleggers’ Ball attendees)
The Underground will also feature select, higher-intensity demonstrations—including heavy impact, single-tail whip, and needle play. These demos may be visually intense and may include the sight of blood. This part of the night is optional to view and may not be for everyone.

Guests are welcome to step away at any time—no pressure, no judgment.

House Tops, Dungeon Monitors, and Security will remain present to maintain safety, consent, and control. No deep headspace. No aftercare provided.

HOTEL RATE & PARKING
Discounted room rate: $79/night for ticketed guests (limited availability).
To book the $79 rate, guests should call the hotel directly at (704) 688-9944 and request the discounted rate for The Bootleggers’ Ball (be sure to mention the event name when booking).
Parking is available on the side of the hotel for guests not booking a room. Please do not park in front of the building—vehicles parked in front will be towed at the owner’s expense. Guests with a booked room may park on site in designated guest parking areas in front of the hotel.

EVENT RULES
• 21+ ID required at entry.
• Consent is mandatory—ask first, respect the answer, every time.
• Bottoming sessions are short, guided, and controlled; no deep headspace; no aftercare provided.
• No photography outside designated areas.
• Respect boundaries, pronouns, and privacy.
• Dress to express—skin is fine, style is required.
• No outside alcohol permitted—do not bring your own alcohol into the event.

• No smoking or vaping inside. Take it outside to the designated area by the main doors (away from the entry) so check-in stays clean and nobody gets hotboxed by surprise.
• All alcohol must remain inside the ballroom at all times. No drinks are permitted outside the ballroom (ABC compliance).
• CC Staff, Dungeon Monitors, and Security have final authority on safety and conduct.
• Over-intoxication, aggressive behavior, or repeated boundary pushing will result in removal.
• Violation of rules = immediate removal and may result in a ban from future events.
• Phone use is fine—please step outside the ballroom for calls/extended scrolling so others never feel recorded.

PHOTOGRAPHY & PRIVACY
Privacy is sacred. This is a discretion-forward event, and our photo rules are mandatory.
At check-in, Carolina Confidential will provide a high-visibility camera cover (painter’s tape) to cover phone cameras. This is required for all guests. Security will be actively watching and enforcing this throughout the night. If you need additional tape at any point, just ask—we’ll gladly provide more. Please do not remove the camera cover inside the ballroom. If it comes off or you need more, check in with staff and we’ll re-tape you.
• Green wristband = photography permitted.
• Red wristband = no photos, no exceptions.
• No photography inside the ballroom by guests. The only approved guest photo area is the CC backdrop photo corner outside the ballroom.
Our official house photographer, Kenny Kivett, is the only person authorized to take photos inside the ballroom. He will actively check wristbands and will never photograph anyone wearing a red wristband.
We understand people may need to check messages or use their phones—please step outside the ballroom to do so, so others never feel like they’re being recorded or photographed.

DRESS CODE

Vanilla to the door.
Once you’re inside, dress like you belong in the speakeasy—fetish-forward, fashion-forward, and intentional. Vintage noir meets fetish couture.

Lace, leather, pinstripes, silk, satin, suspenders, harnesses, and dark metallics.

Vibe: villain glam meets speakeasy sophistication.

If you look like the law might question your motives, you’re dressed right.

Dress to express—skin is fine, style is required.

Pasties, latex, and lingerie belong here. Full nudity does not.

NUDITY & PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES
Performers may appear topless during their acts as part of the artistic presentation.

For guests, pasties, lingerie, and fetish attire are welcome—but full nudity is not permitted during the main event.

Those attending The Underground will find the atmosphere a little looser: topless expression is allowed, and participating bottoms may show more skin, while House Tops and DMs maintain safety, consent, and control.
