Carolina Beach Youth Mural Project- Kid's Sign Up

Carolina Beach Mural Project invites all kids attending CB Elementary School, Murray Middle School, Ashley High School, and Island Montessori to help paint a mural on the storage units at Mike Chappell Park.

Each child will get 15–20-minute shift to work with Artist Mar'Emilia and participate in painting a mural that celebrates the kid in all of us and outdoor activities that are enjoyed in Carolina Beach.

This activity is free, but donations are appreciated!

1 ticket =1 child. Please also provide the tee-shirt size of your child at registration. PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED SHIFT. We cannot hold a space if your child is late-it's not respectful to the Artist and not fair to other kids.

About the Artist: Maria Emilia Borja is a multi- media artist whose goal is to bring art to the public in the form of colorful, bright murals. She co-owns an eco-design brand called Mushpa + Mensa with her partner Cara, and hopes to expand the business to include muraling in the process.

The Carolina Beach Mural Project (CBMP) is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to celebrating and preserving the history and culture of Carolina Beach through murals. The Public Art commissioned by the Carolina Beach Mural Project is scattered throughout the commercial and boardwalk districts, creating a cultural destination for Carolina Beach residents and visitors to the island. Please note: Your child may be photographed during the painting of the mural and images may be used in marketing materials for CB Mural Project. Reserving a space for your child grants CBMP approval for using such images.
