A hauntingly glamorous ballet set to the live music of Maurice Ravel, La Valse captures the allure and inevitability of fate. Balanchines choreography brings a sweeping romanticism and a sense of the surreal to this darkly elegant work. This mixed repertory program invites audiences into a world of glamour, mystery, and shifting emotion. Also on the program will be Michel Fokines Le Spectre De La Rose and The Dying Swan, Robert La Fosse's Concerto in Five Movements, and Artistic Director/CEO Zalman Raffaels B for Ballet.
