Carole King Tribute: Raspberry Jam

Come enjoy a full-length concert event featuring original songs composed by Grammy award-winning Carole King. The music in this year's repetoire spans from her early songwriting days in the late 1960's through her seventh studio album, "Simple Things", which was released in 1977.

Nearly two dozen tunes in a 90-minute set will be presented by the Raspberry Jam Band, whose current members include: Pat Lenertz (guitar, vocals), Kari Marie (piano, vocals), Jake Schaefbauer (guitar, vocals), Bill Mohn (drums), Kris Ottem (bass), and guest vocalist Gina Powers. The band is pleased to annonce the return of the horns section on select tunes, featuring Keith Wander (trumpet), Fred Haring (saxophone), and Steve Wallevand (trombone). Other special guests include "Dakota" Kate Henne (fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, vocals) and McKenna Bakko (percussion).

This will mark the sixth presentation of the Raspberry Jam tribute show and the first year at TAK Music Venue, having been previously held at the former HoDo Lounge and Concordia College.

Please note: Due to the format of this year's presentation, tickets will only be available for purchase at the door until 15 minutes into the performance to minimize interruptions.

The songs will be presented as one large body of work with bits of banter for this performance, and thus this show will not feature an intermission

One final note... seats will not be assigned, but available on a first-come-first-served basis. Any tables purchased by ticketholders will be assigned numerically in the order that they were received.
