Event Overview:
Join us for a joyful afternoon and evening of carols and community at this year’s Christmas Carol Concert! Building on the success of last year's event, which welcomed nearly 1,000 attendees, this year promises to be even more special. With two concert times available, enjoy live music, a thought-provoking message, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. A dedicated Baby and Children’s Play Village will also be available for families.
Concert Times:
- Afternoon Concert: Doors open at 2:30 PM | Concert 3:00 - 5:00 PM
- Evening Concert: Doors open at 6:30 PM | Concert 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Ticket Information:
- Cost: £5 per ticket for adults (ages 18+), non-refundable.
- Free entry for children under 18.
Please note: A portion of the ticket proceeds will support local families through our YUM Bus food project.
Children’s Programme:
We’re pleased to offer a dedicated Baby and Children’s Play Village during the concert. We know how important it is for families to come together especially at Christmas time. We hope this provision will contribute to a rich and festive time for the parent and the child.
Special Guests:
- David Wells
David Wells, with over 25 years of experience in public speaking and training, will be sharing an inspiring message. Known for his warmth and humour, David has the unique ability to connect with audiences large and small, leaving everyone uplifted and encouraged.
- Philippa Hanna – Leading the Carols
Internationally renowned singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna will lead our carols this year. Philippa has performed over 1,500 shows in 25 countries, has released five acclaimed albums, and has shared the stage with stars like Leona Lewis and Lionel Richie. Her soulful, country-influenced vocals have captivated audiences worldwide. Come and sing along with her as we sing those well known tunes.
- Partnering with Compassion UK:
We are excited to once again partner with Compassion UK, a global charity committed to rescuing children from poverty. Last year, our partnership helped rescue nine children from extreme poverty, and this year we aim to make an even greater impact. Mike Robins, Compassion UK's Strategic Partnership Development Manager, will lead the team at this year’s event. Mike brings a wealth of experience in both community service and church leadership, having served as Senior Leader of a multi-faceted church in southwest England.
