Join us on 15 March for a vibrant dancing in the street festival- Carnivale on Carlisle.Infectious rhythms from African Drumming and brass party Seduceaphones will create a street carnival like we have not known before – under the railway bridge, on the corners and at the tram stops.
View the scenes from your favourite coffee shop or jump in and participate in some Hip hop, Boot Scootin, African Fusion, Jamaican Dancehall, Line Dancing, Bollywood, Salsa or Greek circle dancing.
Bring the family early, have hair braided and face painted , stilt walkers and giant bubble blower. Enjoy the performance from our local Hunger for Dance who will host a kids disco children’s with ‘spot’ prizes will also run from \4-5pm in the old Fruit and Veg shop.
FREE WORKSHOPS and interactive performance will run throughout the day if you want to tap your toes. $500 prize money when Cortez Dance Studio host Amateur Latin Dance competition
