Carnegie Cinema: Sense and Sensibility

Please join us for a series of film screenings in anticipation of our Jane Austen Tea Party event here at the Carnegie in December, to celebrate her 250th Birthday Anniversary! The second film we will be showing is Sense & Sensibility, Oscar-nominated adaptation of Jane Austen's novel about the still-single Dashwood sisters and how they cope with men, marriage and money after their father dies. The screenplay (written by star Emma Thompson) was the sole Oscar winner out of seven nominations. Directed by Ang Lee. Rated PG.
