Join UNCG's Carmichael Studios for an exciting day of creativity and cinematic innovation at our Student Film Festival on April 20th, 2024! From 10 am to 8 pm, we'll showcase the best short films made by talented student filmmakers from institutions around North Carolina!
The festival offers an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow film enthusiasts, network with industry professionals, and admire the work of up-and-coming filmmakers. You'll have the chance to watch diverse films, ranging from drama to comedy, thrillers to horrors, and everything in between! Our festival is a celebration of cinema and a platform for young filmmakers to showcase their work and gain recognition for their talents. We'll have awards for the best films in various categories, such as Best Picture, Best Sound Mixing, Best Acting in a Leading Role, and more! Additionally, there are opportunities for panel sessions/Q&A Sessions with student filmmakers.
