About this Event
You are invited to join us for a full day (or half day) Human Experience Workshop, with two three (3) hour sessions centered on Leader Experience (9a - 12p) & Employee Experience (1p - 4p). Lunch will be provided from 12p - 1p by R&R BBQ.
In the Leader Experience session, we will focus on your individual leadership toolkits, and introduce you to a few new exciting tools, resources & activities, to best prepare you, your teams & your organizations for the future of work.
In the Employee Experience session, we will spend time learning about the various employee touchpoints found throughout our organizations, and identify some new methods to enhance the experience in each of those interactions.
We look forward to joining you on this exciting Experience!
**Attendees for each session will be eligible for three (3) SHRM Recertification Credits - for a total of six (6) SHRM Recertification Credits for the entire workshop
About Carl...
A Figure-It-Outer & self-described Experience Evangelist focused on the Human Experience, Carl Sokia started his career in the hospitality industry as an airport shuttle driver for a small hotel. His contagious positivity, commitment to customer service, and innate leadership ability led to his rapid ascent as a thought leader creating successful development, engagement, and customer service initiatives, overseeing the HR & People Operations functions for luxury resort properties across the United States, including the St. Regis, Waldorf Astoria & Grand America Hotel & Resort brands. Aside from embarking on his current entrepreneurial journey with Experience Management Solutions, Carl has most recently served as Chief Human Experience Officer and Founding Team Member at the Farmington-based SaaS Startup, Life Engineering.
Carl has received global performance awards, including Utah Business Magazine’s distinguished Forty Under 40 award (2019) & the Human Resources Business Professional of the Year (2020), and recently served as President of the largest professional HR organization in Utah, Salt Lake SHRM. He is also host of The HX Podcast featuring Carl Sokia, a podcast dedicated understanding of how personal experiences impact work today. He is a proud husband and the father of six daughters and lives with his family in Sandy, Utah.
