๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐โ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. After 28 eventful years in London, guitarist/ composer, ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐ซ is now residing back in Australia in the idyllic foothills of his hometown of Adelaide. Carl has performed and recorded with some of the finest musicians in the world including Billy Cobham, George Duke, Ernie Watts, Randy Brecker, Bennie Maupin, Gary Husband, Don Grusin, the Grigoryan Brothers and pop stars Roisin Murphy and Anastacia. Additionally, Carl held the guitar chair on the 2018 UK tour of Stingโs musical show โThe Last Shipโ . A prolific composer, Berklee-educated Carl has recorded eleven albums of original music and is featured on recordings by Billy Cobham, Damon Albarn and many others. His composition โSong of Adversityโ was recently recorded by The Australian Guitar Quartet.
Carl has a broad range of musical interests and his compositions manifest the influence of jazz, funk, pop, classical and rock and traditional music from around the world.
Carl performed at Londonโs prestigious Ronnie Scottโs Jazz Club over 300, times where he jammed onstage with the likes of Jacob Collier, Mike Stern, Marcus Miller and Nigel Kennedy.
He will be joined for this show by three of Sydneyโs finest; virtuoso jazz pianist ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ง, bass master ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฌ, and everyoneโs favourite drummer, ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ญ for what promises to be a heartfelt, compelling performance with plenty of fireworks.
