Who's up for a Sunday Sew Day, January 18th, from 10-? Sew Smart and The Quilting Workshop are joining forces for a day of quilting to benefit Caring Quilts, a new venture to provide quilts for those in need. All quilts will be donated and specifics will be discussed that day. This is a great opportunity to thin your scraps! We ask you to bring 9" squares from your scraps which will be made into utilitarian quilts. Anything goes! Our goal is to create quilts for warmth, not necessarily works of art. The more the merrier! If you can't attend but want to drop off squares at either shop, we'll take those too. Precutting will maximize our production.
Bring machines and sewing supplies and a beverage of choice. We are providing hot chicken sandwiches and potatoes, feel free to bring snacks, desserts or sides to share.
We will be meeting at SEW SMART'S LEARNING CENTER on Rib Mountain Dr. Please let us know if you plan to attend.
