Empathy is the soul of effective government, ethical businesses, and caring societies. We all have a mutual moral duty to care for one another's human rights and freedoms, according to the Universal Declartion of Human Rights (UDHR) - https://proempathy.us/espdfudhr.
This collective of individuals and organizations are dedicated to teaching and educating about empathy and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We gather on the 4th Thursday of the month in the community room of the Wilmington, Ohio, City Building for a brown bag lunch to hear a speaker and discuss how each of us and our organizations are fulfilling our duty to care.
We will convene on the 3rd Thursday in November and December.

The UDHR has a Preamble and 30 Articles. Twenty-five Articles, 3-27, are what "We the Peoples of the United Nations" want. The Preamble and Articles 1, 2, and 28-30 are WHY we want the human rights. Speakers are encouraged to incorporate the WHY into their 10-15 minute speech.
