According to the Alzheimer's Association, 6.5 million Americans 65 years of age and older suffer from Alzheimer's in 2022. Alzheimer's is a specific illness under the umbrella of dementia. Dementia educator and private care consultant Dr. Jeannine Forrest, PhD, R.N. will discuss warning signs that can be indicative of dementia. She will also provide next steps to take and helpful responses when dementia is suspected or diagnosed.

This free workshop will be beneficial to anyone who interacts with older adults: family members, caregivers, faith leaders, pastoral care practitioners, and first responders. Also appropriate for indivduals seeking information to monitor their own concerns regarding the aging process.
