Caring & Sharing Workshop hosted by the Successful Living Center

The Caring & Sharing Workshop hosted by Successful Living Center is on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Beulah Baptist Church in Montogmery, AL.

The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is for caregivers of individuals who have dementia. The program is designed to provide information and support for those faced with taking care of a loved one.

Some of the speakers for the workshop include:

Dr. Kwandra Brinson - an occupational therapist who works with the senior population

Corporal LyTonya Haywood - oversees the Project Livesaver program focuses on reducing potential injury for adults with cognitive conditions

Judge JC Love - worked to secure and implement improved technology to enhance the quality of lives and services for Montgomery residents

Mr. Isaac Pena - works with the Council of Substance Abuse and a suicide prevention instructor

Registration is required. There are only 75 spots available.
