It's time for Caribbean Celebration! This event is a vibrant, family-friendly cultural festival, in recognition of Caribbean-American Heritage Month, honoring and highlighting the rich heritage, traditions, and contributions of the Caribbean-American community.
Produced by New Mexico Entertainment Magazine, this FREE community event offers an immersive experience featuring live music, authentic Caribbean cuisine, dance, art, and interactive cultural activities for all ages. With collaborations with The New Mexico Caribbean Festival Crew, the festival aims to foster community engagement, celebrate diversity, and promote cross-cultural understanding.
Caribbean Celebration is supported by AMP Concerts / City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department's Park Pop-Up Program, which helps community groups create recreational, arts, culture, and education programming in City parks.
ATTENDEES: To make the most of your experience at the Caribbean Celebration, be sure to come prepared for a fun-filled outdoor day! We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, an umbrella, or a canopy for shade, and a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated. Don't forget a blanket or lawn chair for comfortable seating while you enjoy the live performances. With food, music, and shopping on site, you'll want to have cash or cards handy for vendors. Most importantly, bring your energy, love for culture, and dancing shoes--we'll provide the vibes!
