Cari Lacey is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Central California. Rooted in faith and shaped by experience, her music carries an honest, soulful quality. Blending the storytelling of country, the warmth of bluegrass, and the grit of blues and rock, Cari’s style is both timeless and deeply personal.
Though her heart remains tied to the West, she has made her home on the East Coast, settling in Virginia. Since arriving, Cari has quickly made a name for herself in the local music scene, performing alongside some of Richmond’s finest musicians. Most recently, she showcased her talent on season 23 of American Idol. In Fall 2025, Cari released her self-produced EP “Hook, Line & Sink.”
