"Tom Kastle Long before sea shanties went viral on the internet, Tom was singing them around the world and living the tradition by captaining tall ships on the Great Lakes. In the last decade, Tom has branched out to do film projects, documentaries, and even a little opera in Madison. On the theatrical stage, he has performed roles ranging from musicals to Shakespeare and played a political pundit with the legendary Ed Asner in God Help Us! Tom has performed a one man play for Fermat’s Last Theater Company, on Joe Hill, at the Woody Guthrie Center, , and the People's Voice Cafe in Greenwich Village. His new play Dan Seavey: Confessions of A Great Lakes Pirate was a sell out at the Playhouse at the Overture Center in Madison and will be touring throughout 2026."

Tom Kastle and Adam Shelton (or the other way around) have worked together in diverse ways. Adam was Tom's director in the Madison Savoyards' production of the opera Die Fledermaus and Tom's vocal coach for the Four Seasons' production of The Little Mermaid, a wonderful musical that they both performed in together. Adam was the first in-person guest artist at The Midnight Cocktail Concert, Tom's monthly Zoom concert. They both have a love of folk, country, show tunes and opera and will hold forth in all those genres.
