About this Event

Emily Cargill and Dancers team up with George Staib and Leah Cox to deliver a powerful evening of internalized longings made visible. Two new works will reveal the tumultuous, odd, comedic and tense worlds that form around withheld desires - stolen clarity.

Emily Cargill and Dancers, once an Atlanta-based company, make a return visit from Jacksonville, FL, while Staib (Atlanta, GA) and Cox ( Austin, TX) bridge their own geographical distance.

George Staib and Leah Cox collaborate to deliver the pillars of an as yet untitled, new work. Through an examination of the agitation residing between muted will and a disposition to gratify external viewpoints, the pulsating journey unravels into an obscure truth.

Emily Cargill and Dancers' work weighting room, in two sections, climbs inside a world in which provoked fear shifts and settles us into a claustrophobic state while the things that sit closest to the heart are frisked and snatched from our grasp.

Tickets for this event are $25.

Tickets are available at the door as capacity allows.
