As a leader in advocating for the well-being of older adults and their family caregivers, ActivAge Sarasota expresses its profound excitement to be chosen to host this essential community event.
ActivAge is honored to have Dr. Laird as the keynote speaker. For over 25 years, Dr. Rosemary Laird has helped family caregivers successfully navigate the needs of their aging parents.
Through NAN (Navigating Aging Needs), Dr. Laird hopes to make it possible for every family caregiver to get expert, compassionate support navigating the medical, emotional, legal and social challenges faced by their aging loved ones.
Dr. Laird has been recognized for her expertise. She was voted Geriatrician of the Year by the American Geriatric Society and appointed to Florida Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Committee.
