**THIS EVENT TAKES PLACE IN ROOM 306 OF THE MCCONNELL CENTER**Join the Dover Public Library as we present a showing of the PBS documentary "Caregiving" on Thursday, November 6 from 12:30-3:30PM in Room 306 of the McConnell Center. November is National Caregiver Month and the library is teaming up with our friends at Cornerstone VNA, who run the Library's monthly Caregiver Cafe, which starting in September 2025, will be held at the Dover Chamber of Commerce located at 550 Central Ave. in Dover until the library renovation is complete in early 2026.
"From Executive Producer Bradley Cooper, this is the story of paid and unpaid caregivers navigating the challenges and joys of this deeply meaningful work. Intertwining intimate personal stories with the untold history of caregiving, the documentary reveals the state and the stakes of care in America today. Narrated by Uzo Aduba (The Residence, Orange is the New Black), directed by Chris Durrance."
Following the film there will an hour of discussion.
No registration is required and all are welcome.
Feel free to bring light snacks for yourself and a lidded drink. Cornerstone VNA will provide some popcorn and hot cider.
