About this Event
CAREgivers Retreat is a space for healing, building community, promoting self-care, and providing support for our community caregivers. We are inviting parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends, and activists, who are often overlooked and under-supported, you are our Columbus community caregivers.
This free retreat will feature the following:
Workshops by experienced mental health professionals, community members, local leaders and CARE Coalition Trauma Certified Trainers!
A private Art and Mindfulness Safe Space to land if you need to take a breather.
Delicious light breakfast and full lunch provided.
Resource fair to learn more about organizations in our community who provide services to keep your cup full.
Art exhibition by local youth from Star House, and a raffle to take the pieces home with you!
Custom-made Swag Bags printed with a local artist Janet George's fabulous artwork. Also full of goodies for self-care, health and more.
