Supporting Independence is part of the Alzheimer's Association's Empowered Caregiver Series. This session focuses on helping the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.
All five sessions will be presented by Donna Smith, owner of Home Instead on Fridays at 2pm through April. Each session consists of an educational program followed by a support group. Attendees are welcome to participate in any programs that fit your schedule.
Free respite care is available onsite in Home Instead’s dementia day program, Friends Club. Registration is necessary.
