Presented by the Black Businesses Matter Podcast and Cottage Grove Productions, the evening will begin with a special film screening by Emmy-nominated Cottage Grove Productions, followed by a panel discussion featuring leaders from the Chicago film and media space.

After the panel, attendees will have opportunities to engage with producers, writers, public officials, and workforce partners to learn about the many pathways into film, from entry-level roles to long-term careers, along with opportunities connected to sustainable production and creative industries.
