• You are an FPA member who is a more experienced financial planner looking to hire new talent or find people to mentor.

Attend this one-on-one networking event where you will have an opportunity to meet with experienced financial planners, make new connections and broaden your referral network.

The speed networking format will pair each professional with students for an allotted amount of time. Conversations will continue over appetizers and drinks.

• Who should attend Speed Networking? Speed Networking is open to all FPA members and students who are pursuing a career in financial planning through a financial planning degree or CFP® Board Registered Program.

• Why should students attend? Students should attend this event to explore career options and to make connections with experienced financial planners that may lead to an interview or job.

• What are the benefits? Networking with FPA members gives you a new perspective on the profession and career opportunities for your future. Our goal is for students to become better informed about career decisions and to learn about FPA resources and the role FPA can play throughout their careers.
