Get To Know The Recruiters:

Terry Moore is the Director of Research Administration in the Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS). She has been involved in research administration at UF since 2007. In her current role, she oversees post-award management for sponsored programs and the Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) office, which offers cradle to grave research administration for many of the units in IFAS. Terry Moore is also the Director of Research Administration in the Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS).

Kate Wieland is the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist with the University of Florida Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Human Resources team. She has been involved with UF since January of 2022. In her current role, she is responsible for coordinating staff recruitments within UF/IFAS that include sourcing and screening candidates. She works alongside hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies and proactively identifies talent to support those needs. Kate is also creating and will be coordinating the onboarding for new hire employees.

Melissa Long is the Executive Director of Human Resources where she currently leads the UF/IFAS Human Resources Team. Melissa has been employed with UF since 2003 beginng at UF HR, College of Dentistry and UF Advancement. Melissa is a Gator grad and avid sports fan, so you’ll find her at various Gator fields throughout the year.

Erin Lin is the Associate Director of Recruitment and Industry Engagement - UF Career Connections Center

Get To Know Premier Moms’ Founder:

Shereka Nicole, M.Ed. is the founder of Premier Moms who founded the organization based on the needs of other moms in her area and her own personal experiences as a married and single mom raising two kids in elementary school. She conducted more than a years’ worth of research before launching the organization.
