Career Power Source: Getting Work You Want

Career Power Source is a career readiness and resource event hosted by the NYC Health Department designed to provide tools, resources, and connections to support career growth, especially for New Yorkers affected by HIV and hepatitis and those who face stigma-related barriers in employment. We’re dedicated to promoting inclusive employment for all New Yorkers. Please share this opportunity with your network!

Location: CUNY School of Law, 2 Court Square West, Long Island City, NY 11101

A light breakfast and boxed lunch will be served.

• Career readiness and professional development workshops
• Information sessions about employment-related rights and navigating benefits
• Resume review and mock interviews
• Digital labs to support skill-building with computers and other technology
• Opportunity to receive professional headshot photos – arrive early to schedule a slot!
• Resource fair tabled by a range of local organizations and city agencies
