About the Presenter:
Cam Burkins is a writer, reader, and perpetual student from Houston, Texas. Having navigated career pivots from engineering to nonprofit communications, and now to librarianship, Cam has a breadth of experience leveraging soft skills to secure varied roles and opportunities and is passionate about empowering others to do the same. They are currently pursuing a master's degree in Library and Information Science at the U of I, and have a bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
